New Beginnings & a Wedding Dress

Well,

what a hectic last two weeks i have had, from dealing with a hubby whose having dilemma with his choice of alcohol to waiting on settlement for the house. Almost pulled my hair out as was working with a timeline due to the fact that he had to go back to work and we had to have moved in before he left. Never spent so much time in the car hopping from one place to another. Until after what seemed like a lifetime of misery and waiting, we got the keys!!!!!!! WOOHOO, in less than 48hrs, we had moved in and he had gone back to work leaving me in a house that needs organising, atleast the bed and tele is sorted, lol.

Taking everything one day at a time, and so excited to be in one place. Now i can focus on planning our wedding. Talk about more stress, am in WA and we have decided to have the wedding in Canberra, how mad am i?? What is so unbelievable is that in all this, i managed to get a wedding dress. Didnt even make an appointment, just walked into a store, was gona see which would work and when i tried on that dress (which was ugly on the hanger) it fit perfectly i cried.
I always thought all the gals on "Say Yes To The Dress" on TLC were just too in touch with their emotions, lol. Well am that gal now apparently. but i love that dress, cant wait for June 30th.

so on that blissful note, i head over to watch one of the fav shows "One Foot In The Grave" YES am an oldie in a young body. lol

Countdown

6, 5, 4, 3,......

WELL the countdown for my happiness has began and in 6days am gona be the happiest woman ever!! having a great man does help with that. I am like most of the women in today's world here in WA, a fifo partner and i find it very interesting coz everyday is not the same. It brings its own challenges but that is what i love most and that i actually get the chance to miss my hubby!!Him coming back, in 6days means that am gona be the gal whose stomach is filled with butterflies waiting at the airport. Now i have read plenty of material, or have tried to find lots of material about FIFO, opinions of people who are in a relationship, engaged or married. Unfortunately i didnt find many but fortunately i did find one that i absolutely love reading and her honesty is refreshing. So as i begin my life with both feet in the ground as a FIFO partner, am more than pleased to know its normal to have bad days, to sometimes struggle with this beast and to simply face what am feeling. thats the main word in use, for fashionwih the new release of the sex and the city movie, fashionates around the world are going crazy bout it, from the dress with the outstanding flower to the gown, everything is so put together elegantly that its so great to see a movie that has the clothes tellin the story as well, that is after the much loved movie, the devil wears prada, from the hiptop down to the pair of shoes fashion was witout a doubt telling the story,this is for the all the young women who dont have to be a size too small to fit into society, i say just be health and be yourself, trust me it works, the main reason is the you gotta know what its and luks gud on you, oh and i understand now coz am slightly bigger than i usually was and i have jst decided to embress my new found beauty, the gud part is that i have to love to live in this body that i have, its all mine, all of it and noway can understand how it feels like to be me but me. lol
